Vijay Top Trek

Uttarakhand

Altitude3878 M

Durations 06 Days

Description

People aren’t familiar with, but it has all of the same qualities as Kedarkantha Trek. It is located at an elevation of 3878 meters in Uttarkashi popular Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. As a result, it is the Himalayas’ best-kept secret. So, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of cities and other trekkers on the trails this season, go to “Vijay Top.”

Itinerary

A beautiful scenic drive towards the camp and have a tea, snacks there and rest for the evening.

After breakfast, begin your trek to Pujali and Bitri village by following the right bank of the river Rupin (1500 m). At Bitri, which is 2000 metres above sea level, there are several apple orchards and fields. The villagers' cultural beliefs and way of life are visible. Wheat is grown here, as well as red rice.

The path now leads you through a thick pine forest, with views of the Himachal Mountains and Changsheel Valley from the top of Bitri village. We'll set up camp a kilometer away in a wide meadow called "Sarutal." After erecting the camps and preparing provisions, it's time to rest for the night.

Breakfast will be served at the camp, after which you will begin your trek to Badang camp. A high ridge separates the Rupin and Supin valleys, providing panoramic views of the ranges. The peaks of Himachal can be seen to the north, with humorous views of Swargarohini, a rare mountain with four peaks. Ascend through thick forest areas as you gain altitude. The Rupin and Supin Rivers can be seen along the meandering route, and you'll come across streams along the way where you can rest. Badang is a broad, green meadow that is ideal for camping. Set up your tents and rest for a night.

You will hit Vijay Top today by climbing the whole journey; there will be no descents. The tracks become snow-covered in the winter, making the ascent more challenging, but the fun is doubled, and traversing the summit provides more enjoyment. The hike takes you through the forest and along paths that few people have seen and that are covered.

Animal remains can be seen and this area is home to a variety of wildlife. The mountain views improve as you ascend higher, and the first glimpse of the summit will entice you to continue climbing for more breathtaking views. The ascent to the top is mild, but due to the steep ascent and snow on the route, some sections are difficult. The 360-degree views of Kedarkantha (3800 m), Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, Swargarohini (I) (II) (III), Baraadsar Range, Phulara Ridge, Rupin and Supin valleys, Kanasar Lake, and Sarutal are the first thing your eyes can experience once you reach the top.

Spend some time at the top to relax, then begin descending into the wide meadow known as "Badang," where you camped the night before. Arrive there and see if you should spend another night.

Do not miss seeing the rising sun in such a peaceful setting, have a cup of tea, and let all your negative thoughts flow away as you gaze at the pristine beauty. You'll see Swargarohini, the majestic mountain in the midst of it all, looking at you with glacier eyes once more. Bid a fond farewell to this location and depart for Sarutal, where you will see Bhitri village once more.

The trek will descend before you reach the Tal, passing through woodland areas and large and small meadows. Until you enter the Bitari roadhead, you will be surrounded by stunning sights. When you arrive in Bhitri village, drive to Sankri market the same day and take in the scenery. Explore the surrounding area before waiting for tasty food to be prepared. After dinner, retire to your hotel for a restful night's sleep.

Today is your last breakfast with the Himalayan Hikers team on this trek. The certificates will be presented, and after some lovely photographs, Sankri will bid you all farewell.
